On the first morning of Chinese New Year, I headed to my grandparents’ place with Mom and Dad.
The moment we parked the car, Grandpa was already standing at the door, smiling from ear to ear. You could just feel how much he’d been waiting for this moment — probably the whole year！
I raised my camera, and right then he leaned out and said, “Hey, come on in!”
The sunlight was just right, and his smile felt extra warm — like the whole house lit up with it. Inside, Grandma was sitting by the bed. As soon as she heard us, her eyes sparkled with excitement — she couldn’t hide it at all！
For me, moments like these are what the New Year is all about — simple, full of warmth, and overflowing with love ～
